Taylor Swift Vs Other Young Female Artists.

Taylor Swift is America’s sweetheart. She sings, writes her own music and, lest we forget, she is gorgeous. What makes her different from the other female stars out there? It’s not her beautiful, make-us-jealous we don’t have long, blond hair. There are plenty of blond-haired, blue-eyed artists out there. It’s not that she is able to rock out on both country and pop radio; a few others have that claim to fame as well. It’s something more meaningful than that.

Well, for one thing she is genuine. What you see is what you get. She is not playing a character like Lady Gaga, or depending on her dazzling sets and crazy dance numbers to win over fans. Swift writes songs that mean something to her and to us (her fans) as well. Then she gets out there and sings it for us.

Swift is also one of the few female artists out there who is not depending on selling a “naughty” side. The songs she gives us are wholesome, and songs we don’t mind singing at the top of our lungs. It’s refreshing to be able to see a star that is selling her music and not herself in order to receive acclaim.

That is why we love her. She is genuine. She is wholesome. And we can rock out to her songs weather we are falling in love, dealing with a break-up, or tired of dealing with people who are just plain mean.
